Pharmaprix is a Canadian chain of franchised pharmacies operated by Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Chain pharmacies carry the “Shoppers Drug Mart” banner with the exception of Quebec and Hawkesbury, Ontario, which carries the “Pharmaprix” banner.
Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. was founded by Murray Koffler (en). The Koffler family also owns Super-Pharm, a chain of pharmacies in China, Israel and Poland. In fact, Super-Pharm pharmacies use some private label products such as Life Brand and Quo which are also used by Pharmaprix pharmacies.
Pharmaprix and Shoppers Drug Mart operate more than 1,200 pharmacies. They have several sections: sale of drugs, condoms and orthopedic materials, natural and homeopathic products, cosmetics and cosmetics, perfumes, hair products, soaps and other personal hygiene products, toothpastes and mouthwashes, baby products, diapers and sanitary napkins, greeting cards, photo center (several pharmacies offer on-site digital photo development service), postal counter, etc. There are even rays of dry foods and drinks.
